Bslbatt unveils modular balcony battery storage system
Bslbatt, a Chinese storage system manufacturer, is entering the balcony PV market with the introduction of the MicroBox 800, a battery storage system with a bi-directional inverter, and the Brick 2, an extension battery module, specifically designed for balcony PV.
The MicroBox 800 combines an 800W bidirectional inverter with a 2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery module, enabling integration in both on-grid and off-grid setups. The dual MPPT technology supports solar inputs ranging from 22V to 60V, delivering up to 2000W of input power.
The MicroBox 800 system has a stackable design, allowing homeowners to expand their energy storage capacity with the Brick 2 battery modules. Each Brick 2 module adds 2 kWh of storage. Up to three Brick 2 modules can be connected wirelessly, allowing for a total capacity of 8 kWh.
“This makes it perfect for powering essential loads during outages, supporting off-grid living, or reducing reliance on the grid in modern urban settings,” Bslbatt says.
The MicroBox 800 measures 460x249x254mm and weighs 25 kg, making it easy to install. The product is backed by a 10-year warranty and claims a lifespan of over 6,000 charge-discharge cycles. It features an IP65-certified enclosure which ensures reliable operation in various conditions, whether installed on a balcony, in a garage, or in an outdoor garden.
