Schmid Pekintaş targets redox flow battery cost reduction with new Turkish gigafactory

Sembcorp to expand Southeast Asia’s biggest battery storage site
Built across two sites on Jurong Island, Sembcorp's lithium ion battery storage system will now be expanded to 311 MWh. Meanwhile, Singapore's Energy Market Authority (EMA) has awarded grants to local sodium-ion and vanadium-flow specialists in a bid to enhance grid stability, also via underground system deployment.

VRB Energy plans 550 MW capacity across US, China via JV and restructuring

China to host 1.6 GW vanadium flow battery manufacturing complex
The all-vanadium liquid flow industrial park project is taking shape in the Baotou city in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region of China, backed by a CNY 11.5 billion ($1.63 billion) investment. Meanwhile, China's largest vanadium flow electrolyte base is planned in the city of Panzhihua, in the Sichuan province.
